Mariana Dzhulai has completed Ukrainian NGO leaders certification

Our founder and director of the “Kastanje” Dutch Ukrainian Cultural Center, Mariana Dzhulai, has completed a special course for Ukrainian NGO leaders in the Netherlands. 

Over the course of a year, the Civil Society Hub programme, created by Opora Foundation and OpenEmbassy as a “grassroots start up incubator” combined expert workshops, mentorship, psychosocial support, and peer learning between organizations. It focused on strategic planning, fundraising and grant opportunities, legal frameworks for NGOs, local governance and advocacy, branding and communications, and effective team management.

Kastanje’s participation in this programme has strengthened our organizational capacity, helped us navigate Dutch legal and financial systems, and prepared us for sustainable growth and new projects and collaborations in the Netherlands
